Belly Shot: 21 Weeks
Within the last week, I received two emails about whether or not I would be posting pics up of my belly. I normally love to show off the roundness but this time around I was a little apprehensive because I have an umbilical hernia which is making my stomach look like it has two heads-not cute!
It wasn’t until yesterday when I stumbled on this blog, that I said, let me tell everyone that I have this condition and embrace my two-headed monster. What’s interesting is that this condition is prevalent only in African-Americans. I knew something was up after my 2nd pregnancy but because I am not that efficient at taking myself to the doctor (I only go regularly when I am pregnant-I know, shame on me), I never knew what it really was. After this baby, I will have surgery to remove it and all should be well again. In the meantime, here is a shot of the belly this week and every week, I will make sure to give you a shot of The Situation growing inside of me.
P.S. I hid the monster this time but I’ll show him soon. LOL
