Notice Anything Different?

If you’ve had a baby, I am sure you know that your body undergoes significant changes after childbirth. But what about these weird things that I am attributing to post-pregnancy. My feet did grow and I heard that would happen (which reminds me, stay tuned for my Ebay sale of my size 10′s that no longer fit) but did you notice anything different that ummm is not so much discussed?

Here are a few of mine:

  •  I think my uterus has tremors. Seriously, it’s not gas, it’s actual movement like there is a baby moving around in there. Random vibrations that make me look down and wonder if I should be on an episode of “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant”. Trouble is, it has been happening for longer than a normal pregnancy so unless the baby is walking around in there now, it has to be a post-pregnancy thing.
  • My ears now have significantly more wax in them. I know this one sounds crazy but I use a q-tip like I have OCD now due to the wax increase. Don’t let me be alone here…anyone?
  • Last but certainly not least, brace yourself. I can’t pee straight. I look to check alignment while peeing, I focus really hard, I actually meditated once on it but no dice. Due to the babies, I cannot pee straight. (this is while squatting over a public toilet) When seated at home, I pay no attention to how or where the pee is going.

I cannot possibly be alone here. Any other weird but true post pregnancy discoveries?

I have had the movement in the tummy thing. I was like, "I know that no one is in there" and as you stated, you knew it wasn't gas.

OMG! I feel so much better! I thought I was the only one that can't pee straight.

I'm going to guess you aren't the only woman who has problems peeing straight considering the state of the toilet seats I see in public restrooms!

I've had all kinds of other problems with my frankenvulva since having my son, but I don't think the inability to directionally pee is one of them! Now peeing when I don't intend to definitely is. *sigh*
  • LOL I have those darn uterus tremors all of the time. One time I had them so bad, I went and took a pregnancy test and I'm on the Mirena! I dig in my ears everyday with a q-tip or tissue, it's a habit. Sometimes my ears moisten when I eat or just at random, so I must clean them because I can't stand that wet feeling. I don't think that has anything to do with having a baby though.

O.M.G! i def have the uterus tremors. Its so crazy the way it happens, though, because it feels EXACTLY like it did when i was pregnant. It freaks me out more bc I KNOW (and when i say I know i mean I KNOW) there is nothing in there. So i always feel like I'm in an alien movie or something!...I too, have an uncontrollable amount of wax....and that's all I'm going to say about that.

The only thing I noticed is the line on my stomach is still dark and baby #2 is 3 years 3 months old. When I went to the spa to get waxing the aesthetician asked "did you just have a baby" and I was thinking darn I know I don't have a washboard stomach. She was referring to my linea nigra(which is a pregnancy issue).
