Oeuf ‘Be Good’ Angel Alpaca Slippers
A few blocks from my home, someone has an Alpaca farm. I just thought that would be an interesting way to start this post, other than the fact that these slippers are made from alpaca wool, that tidbit is irrelevant. Here’s another good cause that is oh so precious at the same time. Did you know alpaca wool is hypoallergenic and eco-friendly? As I shop around for layette items for the situation, I stumbled on these cutesy angel slippers. I love keepsake items and these will probably be shadowboxed in her room. Better yet, they are hand knit by a community of indigenous women in Bolivia, in line with Fair Trade principles. Again, I score with an item my baby will look good in and I will feel good about.
