Spooky Sprinkle
I like baby showers. It’s not so much about the gifts but more about the warmth and love that welcomes the baby into the world. I didn’t do anything when the diva was born but this time, I’m definitely doing it because I don’t want to deprive the situation of the opportunity to experience that warmth. Your friends won’t keep giving you showers if you have babies back to back like I’ve been-so throw it yourself, like I’m doing. Instead of a shower, I am having a sprinkle—Cayyuuute!! A sprinkle is, of course, a light shower and since I am not doing things on a grandiose scale, I figured this would be the perfect name for it!
Wait…I’m lying. It will be grandiose because quite honestly, I don’t know how to do things on a small level. Initially I was going to capitalize on the Labor Day weekend and hold the sprinkle then but something came to me, like an epiphany, (love that song) I want to have a Halloween party this year so why not combine the two!!!! Genius!! So introducing, the Spooky Sprinkle. I already have the design of the invite down and I am uber excited about planning this. Lucky for you, you will get to see all the details along the way.
