Bosphorus Vases & Potluck Update
You know the pot luck is Saturday right? I’m in full on panic mode. I try to be calm but my to-do is relatively short and I’m not sure if that’s because I’ve done most of it or if I left some things off. I slowed down a bit because it didn’t look like a ton of folks were still coming but I got a call last night from one of the room parents and at least 20 parents are on the list. Wooo!
Hosting an event forces you to do things that are on your to do list. The house is always clean. You all know I’m the clean house Nazi but there are a few design elements I wanted to get sorted out and this event made me do it. One of those things was changing up my table top displays. I love flowers and every chance I get, I put up a fresh bouquet. This Spring, I want to try my hand at filling vases with fresh fruit and flowers. I’m using my trusty Pottery Barn catalog as my guide and here are a few inspirational designs:
So simplistic and gorgeous! I’ll share pictures of how my masterpieces turn out. The only thing I’m concerned about is the actual vase. The vases at Pottery Barn are upwards from $60. Ummm no ma’am. I am about to run to Target and scoop up about 3 or 4 but I know I have some at home too. I’m not home so I can’t take inventory and that’s the only downside. I also can’t wait to show you how I transform my fireplace into a little faux Easter garden. Ciao sweeties!
