Project: Sharing A Room
I need help folks. I am trying to have ‘the situation’ share Kennedy’s room. Her room already has the nursery essentials and logistically it would make sense for the girls to be together. The problem is the company I got my crib and furniture from is no longer in business. Sigh. So now I am left to match wood which is absolutely no fun. If you look at her room, you’ll get a good idea of the honey color I am trying to match.
You know how much I love Pottery Barn Kids but I even went outside of them to see what I could get in terms of a close match. I don’t really like any other furniture. With PBK, I can get a cute bed with a trundle so if their cousins sleep over, they can have a girl’s night. Here’s the plan: Buy two beds now so that way when ‘the situation’ grows out of the crib, I would already have her bed matching Kennedy’s.
I looked for a crib from Morigeau Lepine (the company that shut down) in Honey on Craig’s list to see if I could get a matching crib. No luck. That would have been ideal because the crib converts into a full bed. Sigh again. So I ordered wood swatches from PBK and I lined them up on the changing table to see which one works best-I’m stumped:
So here’s the million dollar question, which one would you choose? Starting from left to right, let me know if you would go with 1, 2 or 3. The first one is Sun Valley Honey, the second is Honey and the last one (closest to that white strap) is Rustic Sun Valley Honey. Help a mommy out! You know the pregnancy has me really anal so everything has to be perfect. Thanks a bunches.
