Sunday Flowers: Sunflowers
I was supposed to be doing things weekly for you guys. Sharing my Sunday flowers, thirsty Thursday updates and a few more things I classified as weekly features. I am trying to get back in the swing of things so I will play catch up. I went to Genaurdi’s on Sunday for a few last minute items for an impromptu cookout and spotted these sunflowers. I don’t know how to buy a sunflower but I am always fascinated by their big “faces” and their bright color-ths time was no exception. I had visions of coming down to breakfast and seeing these beauties full-faced and magnificent.

I wish they actually looked better but it’s a start. I’ll do some research on what to look for and before the summer is out, we’ll give this another try.
Note to readers: I showcase a fresh flower or bouquet on Sundays to add a little spice and change up the decor of the kitchen/dining room. I love flowers and now that I am working on my garden, I plan on cutting a few from there too.
