Lens Baby
I was all over the place when I attended BlogHer. You know, I am not even a serious photographer and somehow I found my way in the Shutter Sisters suite checking out gear. I think I just like nice things and the problem is that while most people just think about it, I actually purchase. A bit impulsive? I think so. So while I was in the suite, I had the chance to check out a few lenses from Lens Baby. I have no clue what optics are but these things look like they will give me cute pics and that is all that really matters. The idea is to pick one of their 3 Creative Effects SLR lenses; Composer, Muse and Control Freak that fits your shooting style and an optic that matches your vision.. Well guess who doesn’t know either. Here’s what’s in my shopping cart:
- Muse Lens
- Composer
- Control Freak (I would buy this one just for the name, it just sounds like we were made for each other)
All of these lenses come with an optic installed and you can’t even buy an optic without already having a lens. I thought that you could by the pinhole optic and just put it on your camera but as explained by their wonderful customer service, it won’t work without their lens. So wish me luck and stay tuned for the photo portion of the site.
