Thirsty Thursday: Backpacks
I like purses but backpacks seem way more practical to me. On this week’s edition of Thirsty Thursday, I thought we should examine a few styles that excite me. There is such a relief from not having to worry about a weighty shoulder strap or a handbag. I just throw all the essentials in and go! Besides, now that I walk around with baby essentials, the idea of a multi-purpose bag such as a backpack is ideal because I can carry wipes, pampers and all my personals in the same bag. By the time I add all of my stuff to the diaper bag, my shoulders are complaining or the stroller tilts back from all the weight.
There has been talk that backpacks look so errr, ummm, not stylish as they do have a tendency to make you look like you are hitting the trails. I have rounded up a few that can take you into chic practicality with an eye for utility. Not to mention, the Fall runway shows indicate that the backpack is making a return.
This is my everyday-go-to backpack. Don’t be fooled by the designer stitch, what lies beneath is A&D ointment, folders, a planner, a host of keys (I can’t be the only one that has like 5000 keys) a few fruits, pampers and a change of clothes for the 18-monther. I couldn’t fit all of this in a diaper bag if I tried. Enjoy my picks!
