Lego Sneakers
Before I had kids, I vowed never to buy character sneakers or anything with skates or lights. Obviously, I’ve changed my mind. These days I would buy anything that keeps them quiet and speeds up the morning ‘get dressed’ ritual. I’ve learned that by letting them pick out their own clothes (from the closet) and buying sneakers that appealed to them, I have less drama as we get ready in the morning. I stopped into Foot Action last week and couldn’t help but pick these cute sneakers up.
He loved them and couldn’t wait to put them on. Let me also share why they REALLY work for me. I have a hard time accepting the fact that my kid will get messy in school. When I went on the school tour and saw the sandbox, I cringed. I buy them nice things and I hate when they come home dirty ( I know, I know). So buying these sneakers works because he likes them and mommy doesn’t mind these getting dirty. My new Polo boots, not so much.
