My Very First Post
Can you believe it? I am actually posting for the first time here on this space. This Mom Noir concept has been a work in progress for years. You are probably wondering what took so long? The holding page read “Coming Spring 2009″ 3 seasons later, here we are. I thank you for waiting with me and I am sure I lost a few in the process but hopefully I will gain them back down the line. There were a few kinks to work out and I needed the perfect design. Then when I thought it was ready, it evolved into something bigger before it even launched. So we are here now and let’s get in to what you can expect.
Mom Noir is a lifestyle site. In it’s literal translation it means Black Mother. Many French experts will say the correct spelling should be ‘Noire’ but I love it they way it is. Your style is illustrated over every facet of your life. Belly Noir: all things maternity and children. There are so many products and tips I can share with my readers that will make their pregnancy that much more wonderful. (I secretly am considering another baby too) In Yum Noir, you will find all my favorite recipes and food convo. I host a lot of events throughout the year so I will be using that area of the site to plan for my parties, soirees and brunches. Decor Noir is all about my home style. I recently had the kitchen renovated and you can count on me to change something up in the house at least once a month. I am in the process of creating a Zen room so you will be able to follow along and get a nice video tour of the space when it is ready. This will also house all my garden chats as we approach the Spring! Style Noir will be all things beauty and fashion. I have natural hair and expensive taste. This should make for some good fun topics. Lastly, there is Etc., if it does not fit well in any of the above categories, it will go here.
