Travel Noir: Snique Away
I’ve already booked my post baby trip. Just me by myself for a few days so I can relax and get back in touch with-this is total bullshit. There is really nothing to get back in touch with. I’m tired as hell. Heavy. My hips are killing me and I just need a damn vacation. It won’t be anything sexy because my post baby bod won’t be back yet but a beach and pure relaxation never hurt a soul. I never received a push gift so when you don’t receive, gift yourself.
I stumbled on this site today, Snique Away and as if it was sign from above, today’s sale is a lovely resort in Tobago. Score! Snique Away is an invite-only travel site from Trip Advisor and Smarter Travel. It functions much like Jet Setter from Gilt but it is a bit different. First, they say they will only offer deals at properties that have an average rating of four-out-of-five or higher. I’ve never before used Trip Advisor so I am not sure how much their reviews will influence my purchase decisions. This will be the first time however, that a private travel site includes the reviews on the same page as the resort photos. When I browse Jet Setter, I only get what the Gilt people think of the resort in question, for more opinions, I have to open a new browser window and conduct my own search. There is an added convenience with seeing availability, reviews and photos in one place.
I can’t wait to try it out and see for myself. I may just jump on that Tobago special. Thinking hard. Ciao!
